Account Executive
- Job Title: Account Executive
- Salary: $70,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Residual Commission
- Location: New York, NY | Full-Time | In-Office (Herald Square / Penn Station)
We are working with an ambitious, technology-led payments business that is continuing to grow across the merchant services market. Built on long-term success rather than outside investment, our client has established a strong reputation by delivering tailored payment solutions to businesses across retail, hospitality, eCommerce and specialist sectors. As the company expands, they are looking for an Account Executive who is eager to develop into a high-performing sales professional within a supportive, hands-on environment where your success is directly rewarded.
The Account Executive will learn every stage of the sales process while working alongside experienced sales professionals who provide real-time coaching and mentorship. From your first day, you'll earn commission as though you're managing deals independently, with a clear pathway to becoming a trusted closer and, ultimately, helping develop future members of the sales team.
Role Highlights
- Manage both inbound and outbound sales opportunities allocated through internal lead generation campaigns.
- Review merchant processing statements and build tailored pricing proposals for prospective clients.
- Work closely with senior sales professionals throughout your onboarding to accelerate your development.
- Progress towards independently managing discovery, negotiation, quoting and closing activities.
- Develop into a future mentor, supporting and coaching new Account Executives as the business grows.
You Will Need
- A genuine passion for sales with the ambition to build a long-term career.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with confidence speaking to prospective clients.
- A positive, coachable mindset and the desire to continuously improve.
- Ability to work full-time from the New York office, Monday to Friday.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential;
recent graduates and SDRs ready to step into an AE role are encouraged to apply.
Why You'll Love It
- $70,000 base salary.
- Uncapped residual commission with recurring monthly earnings for every successful account.
- Commission paid from day one during your training and development period.
- Continuous one-to-one coaching from experienced sales leaders.
- Clear progression based on performance and responsibility rather than time served.
- Opportunity to work with businesses across multiple industries and merchant types.
- Exposure to complex, consultative sales rather than scripted transactional selling.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial working environment where your contribution is recognised.
- Strong earning potential with company-reported first-year commission growth beyond base salary for successful performers.
- Central Manhattan office location close to Penn Station and major transport links.
Apply today to take the next step in your sales career with a forward-thinking employer that rewards ambition, invests in development and provides genuine long-term earning potential.
