Accountant

Zapegg Tax Consultant is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to support its financial and accounting operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, knowledge of accounting procedures, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while meeting deadlines and supporting clients with professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents .
• Record daily financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and review invoices, vouchers, and supporting financial documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and accounting summaries.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
• Monitor expenses and maintain proper documentation for business transactions.
• Support tax-related accounting activities and prepare required financial information.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding accounting and financial queries.
• Ensure accounting records comply with applicable company policies and regulations.
• Assist senior accountants and management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
• Previous experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting position is preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures .
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel .
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet financial deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting and tax practices is an advantage.
• Honest, organized, and professional approach to handling financial information.
