Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Mooresville, NC area (on-site)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some team members work 7:00 AM–4:00 PM)
Position Summary
Our client is a specialty beverage co-packer — they take recipes from beverage brands and produce/package their products (primarily canning). This Accounting Clerk role sits on a small accounting team and is functionally an AP-focused position: high-volume data entry, invoice processing, and basic PO handling, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. The team is willing to train on company-specific systems and processes, but candidates need relevant AP/accounting experience and a clean, professional resume.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions
Verifies and posts details of business transactions (funds received/disbursed), totaling accounts to ledgers, spreadsheets, and databases
Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost/damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items
Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records; reviews for accuracy
Monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure payments are up to date
Reconciles report discrepancies and problems
Codes data for input to the financial data processing system (SAP) per company procedure
Reviews computer printouts against manually kept ledgers and makes corrections
Processes basic purchase orders and receives invoices
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
2+ years of AP/accounting experience preferred
SAP experience required
Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
High attention to detail and comfort with high-volume data entry
Strong organizational skills
