Accounts Payable and General Ledger (Healthcare)

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking an Accounts Payable and General Ledger specialist to join their team within the healthcare sector. This role focuses on maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring compliance with audit documentation standards in a medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process hospital supplier invoices, verifying purchase orders, goods receipts, service confirmations and approvals.
• Prepare payment schedules, reconcile supplier accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies with Procurement and relevant departments.
• Maintain general ledger entries, accruals, prepayments and account reconciliations, supporting timely month-end closing.
• Prepare financial schedules and audit documentation while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.

Experience Required:

Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, including relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare organization.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.

Skills Required:

• Practical knowledge of accounts payable
• ERP systems
• Advanced Excel
