Ai engineer - generative ai / llm

STATERA Middle East is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a strategic 1-year project in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions in real-world environments Develop Generative AI and LLM-based applications Translate business requirements into practical and scalable AI solutions Design and optimize prompts and AI workflows Evaluate LLM and AI model performance, quality, accuracy, and reliability Define and execute AI model evaluation and validation approaches Support the integration and deployment of AI solutions into production environments Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the AI solution lifecycle Required Experience & Skills 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AI Engineering / Machine Learning Strong practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) Strong knowledge of AI/LLM evaluation and testing methodologies Experience building and deploying end-to-end AI solutions Ability to translate business use cases into working AI applications Strong understanding of model performance, validation, and real-world AI use cases Proficiency in Python Experience with modern AI/LLM frameworks and APIs Good communication skills in English Nice to Have Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases Experience with Lang Chain, Llama Index or similar frameworks Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps and cloud environments
