We are partnering with a leading global technology and consulting organization that is seeking an experienced AI Governance Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support a large-scale AI transformation for one of its banking and financial services clients.
This is a high-visibility change leadership role for someone who brings a strong combination of enterprise OCM, banking/financial services experience, and hands-on AI transformation experience . You will sit on the implementation side of the engagement and work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance, legal, and model risk stakeholders at the end client.
What You'll Do
- Lead the OCM strategy, planning, and execution for an enterprise AI governance program
- Translate AI governance policies, controls, and responsible AI requirements into practical changes in how employees and business teams work
- Conduct stakeholder analyses and change impact assessments across impacted roles, processes, and business areas
- Develop executive communications, engagement strategies, sponsor roadmaps, and change plans
- Design training and readiness programs around responsible AI use, governance processes, approvals, and escalation paths
- Partner with risk, compliance, legal, model risk, technology, and business stakeholders
- Support adoption of AI governance structures, including steering committees, review boards, and change champion networks
- Address resistance, trust concerns, workforce impacts, and other barriers to AI adoption
- Establish and track adoption, readiness, and compliance metrics
- Coach senior leaders and change champions to build long-term ownership and adoption
What We're Looking For
- 7–10 years of hands-on Organizational Change Management experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation
- Direct banking or financial services industry experience
- Experience leading or significantly supporting the change and adoption workstream for at least one end-to-end AI or GenAI implementation
- Working knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, model risk management, data privacy, policies, and control frameworks
- Experience with Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or another recognized change methodology
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
- Experience operating within highly regulated, risk-conscious environments
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC 3–4 days per week
Preferred Experience
- Prosci certification or equivalent
- Generative AI transformation experience within banking or financial services
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, SR 11-7, EU AI Act, or similar governance frameworks
- Experience with risk, compliance, governance, or model risk programs
- Consulting, systems integration, or implementation-side experience working with enterprise end clients
- Experience supporting large digital transformation, ERP, or core banking initiatives
