Execute plans and processes to implement the AFR Pricing Strategy.
Respond to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner.
Ensure the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs.
Ensure RFQ development, particularly for high-priority RFQs. Provide detailed guidance and conduct launch calls for critical RFQs.
Deliver day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in the development of tenders, and ensure timely submission of all relevant documents.
Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to network queries.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and airlines, and participate in commercial negotiations.
Prepare carrier performance reports and conduct performance reviews.
Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes, securing cost-effective and competitive pricing. Negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting service specifications and transit time targets.
Stay informed about recent developments in new solutions, services, trade lanes, and traffic developments.
Provide support, guidance, and direction to less experienced or new team members.
Analyze and resolve day-to-day operational issues and implement best practices for AFR pricing to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
