Practice Setting
- Inpatient pediatric anesthesiology, neonatal to 18 years
- Solo MD model, currently 1 APP with a 2nd being recruited
- Typical volume: 3 to 6 cases per 10-hour shift, varies with neonatal and neurosurgical complexity
- Short-staffed coverage needed
Schedule
- Weekday schedule, Monday through Thursday and Friday coverage
- Ongoing weeks available, starting as soon as credentialed
- Must be open to all shifts, including weekends and call; client not interested in restrictions
- Call may be in-house after hours or off-site beeper call; may not be needed
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed
Cases and Procedures
- Neonatal, infant, and adolescent cases
- Neurosurgery and neonatal surgery
- GI cases
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board certified in Anesthesiology
- California license; will wait for license
- ACLS, BLS, DEA, Fluoro, NRP, TEE, NALS
