Clinical Product & Applications Specialist Digital Radiography (Agfa MEA)
Job Summary
We are looking for aqualified Radiographer to join Agfa Radiology Solutions as aClinical Product & Applications Specialist Digital Radiography supporting theMiddle East & Africa (MEA) region.
This hybrid role combinesclinical applications expertise withproduct and solution knowledge supportingdistributors and end customers across pre-sales installations clinical training and workflow optimization forAgfa DR solutions .
The ideal candidate istrilingual (Arabic French English) hashands-on experience with Digital Radiography and is comfortable working acrossdiverse healthcare environments from advanced tertiary hospitals to developing imaging centers.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Applications (Core Role)
- Provideclinical application support for AgfaDigital Radiography solutions including:
- Fixed DR rooms
- Mobile DR systems
- Retrofit and upgrade projects
- Performclinical acceptance system optimization and workflow configuration after installation.
- Deliveron-site and remote clinical training for radiographers and clinical staff.
- Support customers inimage quality optimization dose management andexam standardization .
- Act as a clinical escalation point during early system usage and optimization phases.
Product Solutions & Pre-Sales Support
- Maintain strong knowledge ofAgfa DR portfolio including detectors generators acquisition software and workflow tools.
- Supportproduct demonstrations clinical evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
- Participate inpre-sales activities including:
- Technical and clinical presentations
- Tender support (including public tenders and GPOs)
- Value-based clinical positioning
- Translateclinical workflows into solution designs aligned with Agfas value proposition (quality dose workflow reliability).
- Support distributors withproduct positioning and differentiation versus competitors.
Distributor & Regional Collaboration (MEA Focus)
- Act as aclinical reference for Agfa distributors across MEA.
- Support distributor teams during:
- Customer meetings
- System demos
- Clinical objections and comparisons
- Contribute toregional trainings workshops and user meetings.
- Provide structuredfield feedback to regional and global teams on product performance customer needs and market trends.
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification (Mandatory)
- Bachelors degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging .
- Certified / licensed radiographer (according to local regulations).
Experience
- Hands-on clinical experience with Digital Radiography (DR) .
- Experience working inhospital or imaging center environments .
- Prior experience as anApplication Specialist Clinical Specialist or Product Specialist is a strong advantage.
- Experience working withvendors or distributors is a plus.
Language Requirements (Mandatory)
- Arabic fluent
- French fluent
- English fluent
(Ability to train present and communicate professionally in all three languages is essential for MEA coverage.)
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- X-ray physics
- Image quality parameters
- Radiation dose optimization
- Excellenttraining and presentation skills .
- Comfortable working inmulticultural and multi-country environments .
- Strong communication skills with radiographers radiologists biomedical engineers and management.
- Willingness totravel across the MEA region .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withAgfa DR systems or similar tier-1 vendors.
- Exposure toPACS / RIS integration .
- Familiarity withpublic tenders and large healthcare groups .
- Ability to work independently while aligning with regional strategy.
