Job Overview

WorkWavez Solutions is looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer L2/L3 for an onsite client opportunity in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on supporting business-critical enterprise applications and ensuring stable production operations.

The selected candidate will handle L2/L3 application support, production incidents, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and application monitoring. The role also involves working with SQL databases, APIs, web services, deployments and release management to resolve complex technical issues.

This position is suitable for experienced application support professionals looking to develop their expertise in enterprise production environments, IT service management and application operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application and production support.
• Monitor enterprise applications and troubleshoot application issues.
• Handle incidents and problem management activities.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production issues.
• Analyze application logs and identify technical problems.
• Support SQL databases and database-related issues.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs and web services.
• Support application integrations and connected services.
• Manage application deployments and release activities.
• Work with development and technical teams to resolve production issues.
• Support Linux and Windows administration activities.
• Maintain application stability and availability.
• Follow ITIL-based support and service management processes.
• Contribute to automation and scripting activities where required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in application support or a related technical role.
• Strong L2/L3 Application Support experience.
• Production Support experience in business-critical enterprise applications.
• Strong incident and problem management skills.
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Application monitoring and troubleshooting experience.
• Good SQL and database support knowledge.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Strong log analysis skills.
• Experience with deployment and release management.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Linux and Windows administration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Arabic candidates only.
