This is a freelance on-site role . The interpreters will facilitate real-time interpretation during court proceedings, ensuring accuracy, neutrality, and cultural appropriateness.
Provide accurate and professional simultaneous/consecutive interpretation during court sessions.
Interpret legal terminology and complex legal discourse between English and Gulf Arabic.
Ensure complete confidentiality and adherence to court protocol and professional ethics .
Maintain cultural sensitivity and professionalism in all interactions.
Be punctual and fully prepared for each session across the hearing.
Fluency in both English and Gulf Arabic (spoken and written).
Prior experience interpreting in legal or courtroom environments .
Excellent understanding of legal terminology in both languages.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain neutral, composed, and accurate in high-pressure legal settings.
Residency in Qatar.
Proven experience in legal interpretation or courtroom settings.
Availabilityin Doha, Qatar.
