The Arabic Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Arabic lessons to Primary students. The successful candidate will support students’ language development, cultural understanding and confidence in speaking, reading and writing Arabic within a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Arabic lessons suitable for Primary students.
- Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet different learning abilities and needs.
- Use creative, interactive and technology-enhanced teaching methods.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate assessment and learning records.
- Establish a positive, well-managed and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students’ understanding of Arabic language, culture and heritage.
- Collaborate with class teachers, the Arabic department and the Inclusion Team.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional development and extracurricular activities.
- Follow school policies relating to safeguarding, behaviour, health and safety and student wellbeing.
