Contextual Overview Alef Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Legal Affairs to join its team in Sharjah, UAE. The role supports the Group's real estate operations through legal drafting, documentation review, project registrations, escrow coordination, and leasing compliance.
Key Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent. Additional legal qualifications/certifications are an advantage.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UAE legal roles, preferably involving real estate documentation, leasing, escrow, or SPV filings. Familiarity with SRERD procedures and tenancy frameworks is preferred.
- Skills: Strong drafting, attention to detail, document management, and cross-departmental coordination skills. Working proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work - Draft and review routine contracts including SPAs, reservation forms, addenda, consultancy agreements, and standard construction/FM documents.
- Prepare checklists, supporting documents, and basic filings for project registration and escrow operations.
- Support leasing activities by preparing tenancy contracts, renewals, notices, and gathering paperwork according to Sharjah leasing rules.
- Draft board/shareholder resolutions, UBO forms, and routine corporate documents for SPVs.
- Conduct CDD/KYC checks and maintain records for AML/CFT compliance files.
- Monitor regulatory updates affecting Sharjah real estate and prepare concise internal summaries.
