Innovative Driven is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the team at a premier litigation law firm in NYC!
This role is full time, hybrid, and requires at least one year of workers’ compensation insurance defense experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage your caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements.
- Work closely with clients, experts, and attorneys to execute litigation strategies.
- Conduct legal research.
- Prepare strategic memoranda.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
- Draft Section 32 agreements, third-party liens, and Medicare compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Knowledge of New York workers’ compensation law and regulations.
- 1 year(s) of workers’ compensation insurance defense experience.
