Associate, Compensation & Firm Economics
Global Hedge Fund | New York, NY | Onsite 3 days per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is adding an Associate to its Management Reporting team, part of Financial Operations. The team gives senior leadership the analysis behind major decisions, with a focus on compensation and firm economics. Firm economics here means the financials of the management company itself, not the funds it manages.
The seat mixes hands-on operational work with analytical projects and offers visibility across the whole firm.
WHAT YOU’ LL DO
The work splits between recurring operational processes and analysis that reaches senior leadership.
- Keep core processes running: recurring reporting, accounting, and compensation work, plus reconciliations and data preparation
- Analyze the numbers: variance analysis, trend reporting, and compensation modeling that inform planning and business decisions
- Deliver executive-ready insight: turn analysis into clear materials for the firm’s senior leaders
- Improve how the work gets done: a hands-on role in the team’s generative AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives
