Associate / Consultant, Dubai

At Business Sweden, we are business developers with a unique mandate to help Swedish companies grow their global sales and international companies invest and expand in Sweden. Our Dubai office covers a large part of the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan. The team delivers advisory and consulting services focused on commercial excellence and revenue growth across sectors such as energy, transport and mobility, healthcare and life sciences, digital technologies, security and defence, and FMCG. Across these sectors, our clients’ growth agendas are often shaped by digitalisation, innovation and sustainability. Business Sweden’s consulting services include market entry, growth strategy, public affairs, operational footprint, and client and partner acquisition, among other solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

You will work in project teams to collect, analyse and present information and insights to our clients, drawing primarily on interactions with external stakeholders in the market. You will support senior colleagues in sales dialogues, identify and develop new business opportunities based on market insights, conduct prospecting activities, and collaborate with the team to develop customer value propositions.

We are looking for an Associate or Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys continuous learning and teamwork. You will collaborate with dedicated colleagues to support Swedish clients on their growth journeys in the UAE, across the Middle East and globally.

The role is based in Dubai , but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world as required.

Formal requirements

• You hold a Master of Science in Business Administration or an equivalent degree.
• You are a recent graduate or have one to three years of relevant professional experience, preferably from a consulting firm or equivalent organisation.
• You are results-oriented and analytical, with strong drive and the ability to take on new challenges.
• You have experience creating slides, presentations and reports.
• Experience in selling professional services is preferred, and you enjoy sales-related challenges.
• A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Arabic and Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage.
• Experience studying or working in an international environment is considered an advantage.
• Experience, knowledge or a strong interest in AI, including its application to enhance the quality and impact of reports and presentations, is considered an advantage.
