Job Description / Role

We are seeking an accomplished Associate Interior Designer to join a leading hospitality-focused design studio based in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer to step into a senior leadership position, helping to shape the studio’s creative output, nurture client relationships and drive the delivery of luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants and F&B venues.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of multiple high-end hospitality projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and consistency
Act as a senior point of contact for clients, operators and brand teams, presenting concepts and managing relationships
Provide creative direction and critical design review to project teams at key stages
Oversee project programmes, fees and resourcing in collaboration with studio directors
Coordinate with architects, MEP and other consultants to ensure a fully integrated design
Mentor and develop senior, intermediate and junior designers, contributing to a high-performing studio culture
Contribute to business development, including pitches, proposals and fee submissions
Help to establish and maintain studio design standards, processes and best practice

Experience Required

Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality projects and previous experience in a lead or senior role
Previous GCC experience, ideally in Dubai, with a good understanding of the local market and approval processes
Experience working with international hotel brands and operators

Skills Required

Outstanding portfolio showcasing luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or F&B design work
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, FF&E selection, bespoke joinery and technical detailing, with the ability to guide teams through complex delivery
Working knowledge of design software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools, sufficient to review and direct team output
Commercial awareness, including an understanding of fees, resourcing and project profitability
Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
