Job Overview
The Associate Production Engineer uses established production procedures to address routine or standard engineering problems. The role works under instruction and guidance from other team members and applies conceptual knowledge of production, fabrication, engineering practices, and design procedures. The position supports the development of products from initial design concepts through specification, material selection, manufacturing planning, and assembly.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop design ideas based on customer interests, available budgets, and market research.
- Meet with development teams to discuss product concepts and design requirements.
- Analyze market conditions and industry product trends.
- Prepare preliminary product designs using sketches and computer-based design software.
- Conduct theoretical testing and evaluation of design models.
- Develop complete product designs and specifications using computer modeling techniques.
- Select appropriate materials for product development.
- Define manufacturing processes for designed products.
- Support the transition of designs into production and assembly.
- Oversee assembly activities as required.
- Verify that finished products conform to applicable market specifications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor 's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred.
