Civil Litigation Attorney | Garden City, NY (Hybrid) – $200K
Location/Schedule: Garden City, NY (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $200K
Practice: Long Island commercial and complex civil litigation. Contract, business, and casualty disputes in Nassau and Suffolk courts for corporate clients.
Our client opened a Garden City office recently, its 47th, after more than 20 years of Nassau and Suffolk work. The firm already has a large new downtown Manhattan office. Long Island is a growth seat, not a mailbox. Lawyers are being hired to be in those courts.
Why You Should Join:
- Anew Garden City Office, Built for Nassau and Suffolk – 5,000 square feet. The firm has been in these courts for 20 years. You are not commuting to Manhattan to staff a Long Island case.
- $200K on a Firm With 200 Lawyers in Lower Manhattan – The platform is national, close to 50 offices.
- Growth Seat, Not a Backfill – They opened here to expand. Suffolk is next. The work is the reason the office exists.
- Casualty and Commercial in the Same Courts – Construction, premises, and business disputes for companies already on Long Island. Coverage issues come with the casualty files.
- Hybrid on Long Island – In for a conference in Mineola or Riverhead. Not five days in the city.
What You’ll Actually Do:
- Litigate commercial and complex civil disputes in Nassau and Suffolk.
- Defend construction and casualty claims for corporate and carrier clients.
- Take depositions and draft motions.
- Appear in local courts without a Manhattan commute.
Requirements:
- JD and active New York bar
- 3–7 years post-bar civil, commercial, or insurance litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
- Depositions taken
No one fits every box perfectly - if you’re a practicing Civil Litigation attorney who wants Garden City, real Nassau and Suffolk work, and $200K, let’s talk confidentially.
