Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for ELV , security and IT projects, covering containment, cable routing, fixing details and quantity take-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ELV shop drawings: general arrangements, single line diagrams, layouts, sections and fixing details.
- Draft CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm and PA system layouts.
- Work from sketches and specifications provided by design and project engineers.
- Prepare as-built drawings and track drawing revisions.
- Support Pre-Sales with quantity take-offs from tender drawings.
- Join site surveys and help the project team resolve technical issues.
- Keep drawing files confidential and supervise the AutoCAD Operator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- AutoCAD, Adobe or 3ds Max certification.
- 3 to 5 years of drafting experience in ELV systems (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm, PA).
- Strong AutoCAD skills: layers, Xref, CTB, Sheet Set, scaling, 2D and 3D.
