Job description:
Coverage: 24/5, three shifts (12am–8am, 8am–4pm, 4pm–12am), Monday through Friday.
Must be available for rotating shifts, including overnight.
Demonstrated experience as an Automation Engineer supporting OEM packaging equipment.
Troubleshooting and support of PLCs, HMIs, and Vision Systems on US and European platforms: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Beckhoff, B&R, or equivalent.
Experience with Systech vision and serialization systems. Mentor funds any required Systech training.
Perform all possible Level 1 troubleshooting and document each step in the Call Log (ServiceNow) before escalating; support root cause analysis (RCA) with onsite data gathering; create and update Knowledge Base articles.
Automation Engineer profiles should show greater depth across multiple controller brands and the ability to resolve complex incidents independently.
