The Barn Brew is an Emirati café brand that brings together Arabian heritage and coffee culture. We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join our team and help deliver excellent coffee and hospitality.
As a Barista at The Barn Brew, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, maintaining consistency in preparation and presentation, and providing welcoming, attentive service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty coffee and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other coffee equipment.
- Ensure consistency in coffee quality, taste, presentation and preparation.
- Welcome customers, explain menu options and assist with beverage recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and surrounding work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures.
- Monitor coffee and beverage supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
- Work collaboratively with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience that reflects the brand and service standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Genuine interest in coffee, specialty beverages and hospitality.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced café environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow established coffee preparation standards.
- Previous barista or café experience is an advantage.
