Barista - Specialty Coffee Shop (Ar-Ruwais, UAE) A new specialty coffee shop in Ar-Ruwais, UAE is seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and high-quality coffee beverages for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-over coffee, and specialty drinks
Ensure the quality of all drinks meets our high standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Understand and communicate the unique characteristics of different types of coffee beans and brewing methods
Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Follow all food safety guidelines
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or similar setting
Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
Must have own visa or be eligible for employment sponsorship in UAE
