We're seeking an experienced Director of Benefits to lead the design, administration, and optimization of our comprehensive employee benefits programs across the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of health & welfare, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
- Oversee benefits programs for a large, multi-state U.S. workforce while ensuring compliance with ACA regulations, reporting requirements, and audits.
- Manage and mentor a team of benefits professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Direct annual Open Enrollment activities, benefits renewals, vendor negotiations, and major benefits implementations.
- Partner with executive leadership on benefits strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of progressive benefits experience managing health, welfare, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing benefits, HR, or Total Rewards professionals.
- Strong experience supporting a multi-state U.S. employee population, including ACA compliance and reporting.
- Experience leading Open Enrollment, carrier negotiations, benefits renewals, and large-scale implementations.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and translate business objectives into effective benefits strategies.
