HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Bilingual Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join a thriving Medicare provider within Bergen County, NJ Daily Responsibilities For a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant
Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
Gather medical histories and patient information.
Obtain vital signs and perform clinical support activities.
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
Support patient education and engagement.
Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
Document care activities within EMR systems.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm Required Qualifications For The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant
Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from a Nationally recognized accredited institution such as AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, NCMA, NAHP, AMCA, ARMA, or MedCA
High School Graduate/GED/Equivalent Work or Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, required
Valid New Jersey driver's license and reliable transportation required
1+ year(s) of experience as a medical assistant working with adults / geriatrics
Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, required
Must have phlebotomy experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30-days of hire
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer proficiency and experience using EMRs
