BIM Modeler Job Description
Job Title: BIM Modeler
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate 3D BIM models using Revit and other BIM software.
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings, 3D models, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
- Create BIM models based on architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other project team members.
- Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination tools.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
- Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Update BIM models based on design revisions and site requirements.
- Maintain proper drawing records and project documentation.
- Support project teams during design, coordination, and construction stages.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Understanding of architectural, structural, or MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, modeling practices, and construction workflows.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: 25 years of relevant experience preferred.
