The Brand Manager is accountable for the shop's sales, operations, team and customer experience, and for growing the brand's presence across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the shop
- Ensure full compliance with Patchi standard operating procedures
- Manage operating expenses (rent, utilities, packaging, consumables) within the approved budget.
- Forecast demand and place orders with Head Office / the factory for chocolates, packaging, accessories and gift items.
- Plan stock ahead of peak seasons
- Follow up on shipments, customs clearance and import documentation with logistics partners.
- Recruit, onboard and train shop staff on products, selling skills, gift wrapping and customer service standards.
- Develop and execute a yearly sales plan with seasonal campaigns, promotions and product launches.
- Monitor competitors (pricing, collections, promotions) and recommend responses.
- Build and manage a portfolio of corporate clients: companies, government entities, banks, hotels, embassies and event planners.
- Implement Patchi visual merchandising guidelines in the shop windows, counters and displays.
- Follow the Qatari market, consumer trends and regulatory changes and advise Head Office.
- Identify opportunities for expansion: new shops, mall corners or partnerships.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget and business plan for Qatar.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in retail
- Experience in luxury retail, premium confectionery, gifting, F&B or FMCG strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in growing sales and managing corporate / B2B accounts.
- Experience in the Qatari market is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Commercial and sales mindset, with good negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of inventory management, ordering and supply chain.
- Financial literacy: budgeting, P&L, pricing and margin analysis.
