Position - Bridge Saw Operator
Position Overview:
The Bridge Saw operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the equipment to cut and prepare materials during the fabrication process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
* Set up machines for daily production. Cut pieces to size using hard templates or cut to size dimensions.
* Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or irregularities, making adjustments as needed.
* Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet production specifications.
* Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
* Follow all safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
* Maintain organized and efficient workflow in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications:
* Experience in cabinet, countertop, or stone fabrication a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
* Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams, and measurements accurately.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
* Willingness to learn new equipment and processes as needed.
