Responsible for securing and managing profitable building automation projects. Develops and achieves annual sales budgets, targets high-margin opportunities, and identifies projects with strong long-term service potential. Provides leadership on booked projects, supports team-based sales efforts, and delivers consultative, solution-focused sales to meet client needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000 - $200,000 unlimited commission

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales bookings and gross margin targets.
- Conduct direct end-user sales and pursue selective plan-and-spec work.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Create and execute marketing and account development plans.
- Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and project scopes.
- Coordinate effective project turnover and support operations during execution.
- Follow up on active and completed projects to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide product demonstrations and stay current with industry technologies and codes.
- Attend required meetings, complete reports, and maintain updated quote logs.
- Monitor project profitability, change orders, and job costs.
- Develop annual sales budgets and maintain a monthly target project plan.
- Support collections when needed.

Education & Experience:
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 7 years of technical sales experience.
- Experience with controls (PLC, DCS, HMI) and HVAC systems highly beneficial.
- Understanding of process/system efficiency and systems integration preferred.
