DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Business Compliance Manager MEA located in Dubai UAE
The business compliance manager will be responsible in cooperation with Country HCCOs for developing a comprehensive approach to manage the risk of cooperation with Third Party Intermediaries ( TPIs ) in the Middle East and Africa with emphasis on markets with increased TPI risks.
The business compliance manager will serve as a subject matter expert for the business sponsors and business leadership teams in addressing everything related to the Due Diligence process of TPIs audit findings or SI recommendations related to TPI management also implementing and executing efficient and risk-driven monitoring plans on TPIs in cooperation with Country HCCOs
Ensure DePuy Synthes business practices and activities in relation to TPIs are in compliance with related DePuy Synthes internal guidelines local laws and regulations and anti-corruption laws including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
This position reports to DePuy Synthes Middle East Strategy and Operation Director with a dotted line to Middle East and MISSA Health Care Compliance Officers.
PROFILE:
Bachelors degree ; advanced degree is preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with business leadership teams and business sponsors to ensure that due diligence for DePuy Synthes Middle East and Africa region is conducted as per HCC program to effectively prevent and/or detect violations of law regulations policies or the Code of Conduct
Lead the Samples management capability for MEA DePuy Synthes sector (including development and maintenance of relevant systems)
Ensure appropriate standard operations procedures are implemented in compliance critical areas (pricing tendering distributors management & other)
Provide and coordinate appropriate guidance on Due Diligence and HCC-related updates/activities as needed
Lead the r econciliation of documents for high-risk activities
Ensure all TPI Due Diligence f or MEA is completed and valid as per EMEA Business Practice guidelines
Provide business sponsors with regular reports on Due Diligence renewal and mid-term certification timelines to ensure it is completed as per relevant due date to ensure business continuity
Conduct Due Diligence training for MEA business sponsors ; m aintain Due Diligence training records and valid TPI Inventory for MEA
Participate in Compliance Committee meetings as
Support the business and compliance team during audits/monitoring activities related to DD compliance matters
Participate & Support in projects linked to Management Action Plans to assure enhancement of business compliance
Coordinate and work closely with the EMEA Third Party Ethics and Compliance (TPEC) team
Support the audit team and be the main point of contact with TPIs in case of any TPI audit
Support the end-to-end life cycle management of TPIs in MEA
In cooperation with the HCCOs support the monitoring of TPI compensation in MEA
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS advanced degree or equivalent preferred
M inimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries with appropriate business experience
Prior experience in project management preferred
Supervising people experiences is preferred
Experience in Health Care Compliance preferred
Understands and masters the DePuy Synthes culture.
Knowledge of laws regulations and industry standards for Middle East is a plus.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES :
Deals well with ambiguity and demonstrates strong organizational process and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business and effective negotiating skills are essential.
Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents would be an advantage.
