We are building a sales team that can open conversations in international markets and close them. This is a front-line revenue role with direct ownership of pipeline, not a support function. You will work with prospects across Europe, the United States, Australia, APAC and MENA, positioning cloud, managed services and cybersecurity solutions to business and technology decision-makers.
The role is offered at two levels. Candidates at the earlier end of the experience range will typically join as an SDR, with a focus on prospecting and qualification. Candidates with a stronger closing record will join as a BDM, carrying an individual revenue target. The final level and title are decided during the interview process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Common to both roles
● Identify, research and qualify prospective accounts across assigned international territories.
● Run first-level discovery conversations with decision makers over calls, video meetings and in-person visits.
● Deliver clear, confident product and solution presentations tailored to the client’s business problem.
● Maintain accurate account, contact and opportunity records in the CRM, and report on pipeline health.
● Work closely with marketing, pre-sales and delivery teams to shape proposals and responses.
● Track market developments, competitor positioning and buying patterns in assigned regions.
● Travel within and outside the city for client meetings, industry events and partner engagements.
Additional for the SDR level
● Build and maintain a consistent outbound motion across email, phone, LinkedIn and event follow-ups.
● Meet agreed targets for qualified meetings generated and handed over to the closing team.
● Nurture early-stage accounts until they are ready for a sales conversation.
Additional for the BDM level
● Own an individual revenue target and manage opportunities from qualification through to closure.
● Lead commercial discussions, including proposal defence, pricing conversations and negotiation support.
● Build and manage relationships with partners, consultants and channel contacts in assigned markets.
● Forecast accurately and provide regular reviews of pipeline movement to sales leadership.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
● 3 to 6 years of B2B sales or inside sales experience , with a demonstrable record against targets.
● Direct experience selling into one or more overseas markets: Europe, the United States, Australia, APAC or MENA.
● Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to hold a conversation with senior stakeholders.
● Confident presentation skills, both in a boardroom setting and over video.
● A self-starting, target-driven approach with the resilience that outbound sales demands.
● Comfort with a travel-heavy calendar, including inter-city travel at short notice.
● Working knowledge of CRM and sales engagement tools.
● Graduate in any discipline; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
PREFERRED, NOT MANDATORY
● Experience selling technology, cloud, managed services, data centre or cybersecurity solutions.
● Familiarity with the buying cycles and compliance expectations of one or more of the target regions.
● Exposure to account-based selling or structured outbound methodologies.
WHAT WE OFFER
● Direct exposure to international markets from the first month in the role.
