Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDA) to join our sales team. The BDA will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating qualified opportunities, engaging prospects, and converting them into paying customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, is comfortable speaking with decision-makers, and is motivated by achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential customers through outbound and inbound channels.
• Connect with prospects through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
• Understand prospect requirements and identify relevant business opportunities.
• Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations when required.
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
• Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, authority, and buying intent.
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity information in the CRM.
• Work closely with SDRs, Account Executives, and other sales teams to move opportunities forward.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities.
• Understand the product, target market, competitors, and key customer pain points.
• Gather prospect feedback and share relevant insights with the product and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, inside sales, or a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and handling outbound sales.
• Ability to communicate with decision-makers and build relationships.
• Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Target-driven and comfortable working with sales KPIs.
• Good research and prospecting skills.
• Experience using CRM and sales tools is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
