Business Development Executive (Bakery/Food Service/HoReCa/Food Mfg)

Our client is a leading and highly reputable supplier of premium bakery ingredients, premixes, improvers, chocolate, fillings, frozen bakery products and food solutions serving professional bakeries, HORECA, retailers, and food manufacturers in the Country and operating since 25+ years.

They are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Business Development Executive to grow its customer base and strengthen relationships across Qatar's bakery, foodservice, HORECA, retail, and food manufacturing sectors. The successful candidate will drive sales growth by meeting targets, developing new business, managing customer accounts, and promoting the company's product portfolio.

Location: Doha, Qatar

Reports To: Country Manager /Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers within bakeries, pastry shops, hotels, restaurants, catering companies, supermarkets, and food manufacturing industries.


• Conduct regular market visits to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.


• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue growth targets.


• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.


• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.


• Present and promote the company's product portfolio to customers.


• Prepare and submit quotations, commercial proposals, and tender documents.


• Negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.


• Follow up on customer orders and ensure timely execution.


• Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers Executive Chef and purchasing teams.


• Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs and identify growth opportunities.


• Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high service standards.


• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.


• Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to organize product demonstrations and customer presentations.


• Promote new product launches and seasonal campaigns.


• Assist in trade exhibitions, food shows, and customer events.


• Maintain accurate sales records and customer information in CRM systems.


• Submit weekly sales reports, market intelligence, and sales forecasts.


• Monitor collections and support accounts receivable activities.


• Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Food Technology, or related discipline.


• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the FMCG, bakery ingredients, foodservice, HORECA, or food manufacturing industry.


• Qatar market experience and existing customer network will be highly preferred.


• Experience handling B2B sales and key accounts.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Qatar Driving License.


• Willingness to travel extensively within Qatar.


• Strong understanding of bakery ingredients, food ingredients, and foodservice markets is an advantage.
