Business Development Manager – Insurance Brokerage

Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a growing insurance brokerage in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development professional with a strong track record in corporate insurance sales and an established network of business contacts across the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have an existing portfolio of corporate clients and the ability to leverage established relationships to generate new business, develop long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the UAE corporate market.
• Leverage an existing network of corporate clients and professional relationships to generate new revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including business owners, CFOs, HR Directors and senior management.
• Develop a pipeline of prospective clients across relevant sectors, identifying opportunities for new policies, renewals and cross-selling.
• Understand clients' insurance requirements and work closely with internal teams and insurers to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
• Manage the full business development cycle, from initial engagement and pitching through to negotiation and closing.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring high levels of client retention and satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the UAE insurance market.
• Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Ensure all business development activities comply with applicable UAE insurance regulations and internal compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development or corporate sales within an insurance brokerage or the wider insurance industry.
• An established portfolio of corporate clients and a demonstrable ability to generate business from an existing network is highly desirable.
• Strong relationships with corporate decision-makers across the UAE.
• A successful track record of winning new business, managing client relationships and achieving revenue targets.
• Good understanding of corporate insurance products and the UAE insurance market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working towards ambitious targets.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and able to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Existing UAE market experience is essential.
