We are currently seeking an experienced Cable Installation Technician in:
Grand Rapids (+ Kalamazoo, +Portage)
Pontiac (+ Saginaw, +Detroit)
Lansing (+Ann Arbor, +Jackson)
Position type:
* 1099 Contract.
Please, note:
* This position requires a background check and a drug test.
* This position requires SSN and a valid DL.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in cable or telecom installation.
* Strong understanding of installation standards, signal testing, and customer setup.
* Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
* Must have your own professional tool set and mobile phone as outlined in the company's required equipment checklist.
* Having your own white minivan or pickup truck with a ladder rack is a plus — if not, we can offer vehicle leasing options.
* Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
* Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
* Commitment to following safety protocols and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential fiber internet services
* Perform FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) installations and customer setups
* Install and configure ONTs, routers, modems, and networking equipment
* Perform fiber testing, signal verification, and quality checks
* Run fiber cable inside and outside residential properties
* Complete installations according to company and customer standards
* Troubleshoot service issues and ensure customer satisfaction
* Complete required documentation, photos, and job reports through company systems
* Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
Compensation & Benefits:
