Carpenter

We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al-Khor Qatar. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall using hand or power tools Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames, floorings and trim Build wooden furniture including tables, chairs and cabinets Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures Follow blueprints and building plans to meet clients requirements Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills and chisels to complete projects Work with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers to ensure smooth project completion Requirements Proven experience working as a Carpenter or similar role Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficient in using various tools such as saws, drills, chisels etc Knowledge of safety measures when handling sharp tools or working at heights Physically fit with good stamina to handle physical demands of the job Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience in furniture making or cabinetry is a plus Familiarity with different types of wood materials Excellent problem-solving skills Good communication skills
