We are a well-established retail store in Ar-Ruwais seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as an Entry Level Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the retail industry and start their career as a cashier.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately scan items and process payments using the cash register
• Handle customer inquiries and provide information about products or store policies
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
• Follow all cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security of transactions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of the store

Requirements

• Fluency in English (Malayalam proficiency is preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Prior experience in retail or as a cashier is not required but considered an asset
