Cashier in Jabal-Ali, UAE
We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team in Jabal-Ali, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a cashier in retail or similar environments and will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and customer service protocols. We prefer an Egyptian national and we offer visa sponsorship and accommodation for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities include:
- Counting the money in the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
- Processing payments using cash registers, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Maintaining accurate records of daily transactions
- Balancing cash drawers
- Answering customer questions and addressing complaints in a friendly manner
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Assisting with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a related role
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and customer service protocols
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent communication abilities (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in finance or accounting is preferred.
