The successful applicant should also possess an understanding of basic accounting principles and be comfortable working with computers.

• Welcome customers and provide assistance with their purchases as well as manage transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure that all payments are processed in accordance with company policy and procedures while maintaining a professional attitude towards customers at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Balance cash registers at the end of each shift.
• Prepare daily reports for management review.
• Ensure that the checkout area is kept clean and organized at all times.
