Job Description
- Develop and maintain store planograms to ensure products are displayed effectively, shelf space is used efficiently, and merchandising objectives are achieved.
- Analyze sales figures, product performance, and shelf-space data to support informed decisions about product placement and store layouts.
- Collaborate with category managers to recommend product assortments, shelf positions, range adjustments, and merchandising improvements.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess shelf arrangements, review planogram implementation, and ensure compliance with approved layouts.
- Provide store employees with clear layout plans, merchandising instructions, and updated guidelines to support accurate implementation.
- Assist with new store openings, renovations, and layout changes by preparing planograms and coordinating merchandising setup activities.
- Coordinate with sales, merchandising, category management, and other relevant departments to ensure store merchandising plans are implemented effectively.
- Update planograms and related documentation whenever product ranges, business requirements, or store layouts change.
Job Details Experience
- Completed or ongoing higher education in Economics, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience in retail operations, merchandising, purchasing, category management, or a similar area.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and perform calculations related to product and shelf-space planning.
- Strong analytical and planning abilities, with good time management and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate professionally with store employees and internal departments.
- A proactive, energetic, and results-focused attitude toward achieving merchandising and commercial goals.
