CCTV Monitoring & Compliance Operator

Role overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented CCTV Monitoring & Compliance Operator to support the safety, security and operational standards of our growing network of branches and offices across the UAE.

This position goes beyond traditional security surveillance. You will monitor CCTV footage to identify potential security concerns, operational irregularities and non-compliance with established company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience monitoring CCTV systems within a multi-branch retail, hospitality or commercial environment, with the ability to recognise operational issues, maintain accurate records and elevate concerns professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage across multiple branches and office locations.
• Identify and report security incidents, safety hazards, suspicious activities and potential operational irregularities.
• Monitor adherence to established operational procedures, including opening and closing protocols, customer service standards, cash-handling controls and other approved branch procedures.
• Identify and objectively document potential breaches of company policies, referring concerns to the appropriate management team for review.
• Prepare accurate daily monitoring reports, incident logs and supporting evidence.
• Escalate critical incidents promptly in accordance with established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with Branch Operations, HR and relevant departments when investigating reported incidents.
• Retrieve and securely manage CCTV recordings in accordance with company procedures and applicable legal requirements.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and report technical faults.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information and recordings.

Experience and qualifications

• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance or loss prevention, ideally within a multi-branch retail, supermarket, hospitality or commercial organisation.
• Experience identifying operational non-compliance, suspicious transactions, employee misconduct or procedural irregularities through CCTV monitoring is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems, playback functions, footage retrieval and incident reporting.
• Valid SIRA certification, where required for the position under applicable Dubai regulations.
• Strong written English communication skills, particularly for incident documentation and reporting.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, email and reporting applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage surveillance across multiple locations.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required.
