Civil Engineer

We are looking for a qualified detail-oriented and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will assist in planning designing coordinating and supervising civil construction projects to ensure that work is completed according to approved drawings technical specifications quality standards safety requirements and project schedules.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles construction methods site coordination and project documentation along with the ability to work effectively with contractors consultants suppliers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating daily construction activities.
  
• Review construction drawings technical specifications and project documents.
  
• Coordinate with architects consultants contractors and other engineering disciplines.
  
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
  
• Assist with preparing work plans material requirements and progress reports.
  
• Identify project delays technical issues and coordination challenges and report them to management.
  
• Monitor civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors.
  
• Check dimensions levels alignments and construction workmanship as required.
  
• Monitor concrete works masonry reinforcement formwork and other civil activities relevant to the project.
  
• Ensure that materials and construction methods meet project requirements.
  
• Report discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with the responsible team.
  
• Maintain daily site records and progress updates.
  

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  
• Additional training in construction management project planning quality control or health and safety is an advantage.
  
• Knowledge of applicable civil engineering standards construction practices and technical documentation.
  

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a Civil Engineer or in a related construction engineering role is preferred.
  
• Experience in building construction infrastructure site supervision or project coordination is an advantage.
  
• Familiarity with construction drawings site inspections quantity calculations and progress reporting.
  
• UAE construction experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Fresh graduates may be considered for junior-level positions where appropriate.
