• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables and quality
• Lead, delegate work to, and mentor engineers and designers

• Lead client and regulatory agency meetings
• Support proposals and business development
• Work across commercial, residential, industrial, institutional and community-focused projects

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Tennessee PE or ability to obtain one
• 7+ years of civil engineering experience
• Strong civil/site and land development background
• Experience managing projects, clients and design teams
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Comfortable understanding and reviewing the technical work while delegating design production
• Strong leadership, mentoring and client-facing skills

What’s Offered

• $115,000 – $145,000 , depending on experience
• Flexible schedule , including a four-day, 9-hour workweek option to earn half-day Fridays
• Two discretionary bonuses per year , historically based on company performance
• 172+ hours (21+ days) of time off to accrue, including vacation, personal time and holidays
• Paid 4–5 day company-wide Christmas shutdown
• Nearly 100% of the full employee premium covered for medical, dental, vision and long-term disability insurance

If you’re at the point where you still enjoy the technical side of engineering but would rather lead the work, mentor a team and work with clients than produce every plan yourself, this will be a great next step.
