Responsibilities
Cleaning and stocking supplies in all areas such as restrooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, and other assigned areas.
Dusting furniture and fixtures.
Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing and polishing floors.
Cleaning windows and mirrors.
Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
Replenishing restroom supplies.
Keeping record of cleaning supplies inventory.
Performing routine maintenance activities as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education preferred; prior experience in cleaning is a plus but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed for special events or other peak times of the year.
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and procedures including safety protocols when using equipment and chemicals; knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for long periods of time; must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach overhead as necessary to perform duties correctly; must have good manual dexterity with hand-eye coordination with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; must be able to work in hot/cold temperatures throughout the year; must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service focus; must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; Must be willing to consider foreign applicants for this position.
