Description
Designs, deploys, and manages an organization's cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. Works closely with development and operations teams to migrate and optimize workloads on cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and infrastructure
- Manage cloud migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments
- Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Optimize cloud resource usage for cost and performance efficiency
- Ensure cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools and services
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering
- Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Understanding of networking, security, and cost management in cloud environments
