Cloud Sales Executive
India based, selling to US customers | 4 to 5 years of experience | Full time
About Infarsight
Infarsight is an engineering partner for Agentic AI enabled operations. We have been building for over 10 years, with a team of 120+ engineers, 30+ clients, and 4 proprietary accelerators. Our clients are mid-market and enterprise operators in the US and beyond, across industries including manufacturing, logistics, retail, and travel. We work at the intersection of their operational systems and the AI capabilities now reshaping them.
What we are building
We are standing up a new practice area: bringing disruptive, best-in-class IP to customers to enable their Agentic AI transitions. Our answer is a curated portfolio of cloud products that solve these problems including: Amnic (a cloud cost observability and Fin Ops platform), Zeliot’s Condense (a real-time data streaming solution), as well as several vertical specific IP portfolios (e.g. Tripsight, Tasksight, etc). As the practice grows, additional products will be added to the portfolio.
Why this role exists
This practice is new and is the direct mandate of the SVP of Revenue for our company. We need an excellent operator to partner with our leadership team: someone who can identify the right US buyers, reach them with outreach that gets replies, run discovery that surfaces both the technical problem and the business consequence, and carry deals through licensing and procurement to close.
What you will do
• Build outbound pipeline for the cloud products practice through prospecting, targeted outreach, and structured follow-up against defined customer archetypes
• Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, discovery, evaluation, commercial negotiation, and close
• Run discovery calls that connect a customer’s technical estate (cloud architecture, Kubernetes footprint, AI workloads) to business outcomes (unit economics, margin, budget accountability)
• Manage licensing and commercial conversations across subscription, consumption, committed spend, and marketplace models
• Coordinate proof-of-concept evaluations with customer engineering teams and Infarsight and partner solution engineers
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and forecast honestly
• Feed field intelligence back into the practice: which segments respond, which objections recur, what the portfolio is missing
• Work hours aligned to US time zones for customer-facing activity
What you need
• 4 to 5 years selling cloud or Saa S solutions, ideally at or around vendors such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Mongo DB, Databricks, Snowflake or similar
• Working knowledge of cloud licensing: subscription, consumption-based, committed spend, and cloud marketplace transactions
• Enough technical depth to ask the right discovery questions and follow the answers. You do not need to be an engineer. You need to recognize when a customer’s Kubernetes bill or inference spend is the real problem
• A track record of sourcing your own pipeline, not just working inbound
• Experience selling into US buyers from India, or clear evidence you can
• Clear written communication. Outreach that is specific, short, and honest
What sets you apart
• Experience selling Fin Ops, observability, cost management, or infrastructure tooling
• Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and the cost and governance questions they raise
• Experience in a founding or first-seller role where you built pipeline from zero
What you get from this role
• Ground-floor position in a new practice: you shape the playbook, the segment focus, and the motion, not just execute someone else’s
• Direct exposure to the Agentic AI transition inside real enterprises, one of the most commercially significant shifts in enterprise technology
• A defined path to leading the practice’s sales function as the portfolio and team grow
• Work directly with practice leadership and product founders rather than through layers
• Compensation structured around base plus deal-based commissions
• The credibility of selling proven products. For example, Amnic customers have published results including 50% cluster cost reductions and 40% compute cost reductions
How to apply
Send a short note (no more than 1 paragraph) describing the deal you are most proud of and why. Don’t shy away from sharing a deal you ultimately lost, what we care most about is the rigor & intensity you applied to the sales cycle.
