Commercial Director – MENA | Retail FX & CFD

NewPath Executives is conducting a confidential search for a Commercial Director – MENA for an established global UK FX & CFD brokerage with both retail and institutional businesses.

The group has a significant international presence and infrastructure, with its UAE retail business operating under a CMA Category 5 licence . The company also has established offices in DIFC , where a number of its international senior leadership team are based, offering a strong, international working culture.

This appointment is specifically focused on the retail side of the business .

Reporting directly to the MENA Managing Director , this is effectively a number-two commercial role for the region and is broader than a traditional Head of Sales position.

The successful individual will help shape and execute the MENA retail strategy, working across Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Product and Operations to build a stronger and more scalable regional business. The underlying brief specifically calls for these functions to be aligned around the regional commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with the MENA MD on regional commercial strategy and execution
2. Help develop and strengthen the retail/B2C proposition across MENA
3. Coordinate activity across Sales, BD, Marketing, Product and Operations
4. Improve commercial processes, reporting, forecasting and execution
5. Drive performance across active clients, FTDs, net deposits, trading volumes and revenue
6. Develop new acquisition channels, partnerships and markets
7. Lead and develop regional commercial teams
8. Potentially expand the remit into Africa over time

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone already operating within the FX/CFD / online trading industry , ideally with experience inside a recognised international brokerage that has successfully scaled across MENA.

This is not simply a “bring your book” sales role .

We are particularly interested in commercially strong individuals who understand how the different parts of a retail brokerage work together and who can operate comfortably between strategy, commercial operations and execution .

Strong Arabic language capability is important , alongside a good understanding of the MENA retail trading market.

This is a senior, visible position with significant scope to grow as the regional business expands.
