About the Role:

Our mission is to create effortless customer-centric digital experiences that enable customers to buy and manage their insurance policies digitally, by ensuring cost-effective, scalable, and secured platform for all our products. Responsible for managing the “end-to-end” Digital product engineering portfolio, the Digital Product Engineer will build best-in-class digital platforms to execute the Business/Customer objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide solution oriented Engineering oversight for building & maintaining direct to consumer digital platform for Bharti AXA Insurance
• Work with the Digital product managers and implementation partners to lead the platform design and implementation of the product backlog
• Weekly Measurement of Technical KPIs for D2C Digital Assets including website performance and user experience with actionable for improvement
• Enable robust integration solutions between Distribution partners and Bharti AXA via Technology provided backend APIs
• Collaborate with Digital Product managers for delivering and tracking the Business & Technology KPIs & metrics as part of the business plan
• Collaborate with back end IT teams for right set of APIs and other integration dependencies
• Identify the best practices & guidelines for engineering (including DevSecOps and Test Automation) and create adoption plan
• Manage relationships with IT teams, partners/vendors
• Disciplined experimentation with new models & platforms for higher business benefits

We imagine you to be :

• Well versed with Application component architecture, design & integration patterns
• Experienced with use of technologies like APIs & Microservices, Content Management Systems, Modern Front end technologies like React/AngularJS, Rule engine, Building conversational interfaces using NLP/NLU, tools for monitoring website/app/SEO performance & customer analytics and marketing automation
• Experience on AWS/Azure will be an added advantage

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering (Computer)/B.Tech- I.T/Computer Science/MCA/Any Stream
• 7-10 Years of experience in Digital and IT sector
• At least 2-3 yrs. of technical implementation & delivery of Customer facing Digital assets in an organization
• Delivered at least One medium to large scale Digital Transformation programme in last two years
• Managed an in-house/partner team of at least 5-10 engineers
• Worked in an agile/iterative environment with continuous delivery
• Managed stakeholders at mid-senior management level
• Experienced in using Project Management tools like JIRA
• Adept at using Google Analytics, CRM systems, MS Office, design tools etc
• Extensive knowledge of architecture frameworks and tools. Research and analysis experience designing new architecture frameworks or enhancing existing architectures.
• Troubleshooting skills, the ability to determine issue impact, the ability to resolve complex issues, and the ability to consistently exercise sound judgment and initiative in stressful situations.
