Communications Operator, Part-Time, Second & Third Shift

Travel Required

The Communications Operator is responsible for managing all inbound and outbound calls received by the main switchboard/Private Branch Exchange. Handles basic questions about the business, including hours of operation, directions, and contacts. Monitors and updates patient status changes within electronic medical record. Assists with the registrations of patients as needed. Monitors the temperature, humidity, and pressure of various hospital equipment. Serves as a mentor to new associates and assists in new employee orientation. Team oriented, open-minded, flexible, and willing to learn. Excellent communication and outstanding customer service and listening skills ** This position will alternate shifts between 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and/or 10:00 PM–6:30 AM . Employees are required to work alternating weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule. The assigned schedule will be established in advance and will include the applicable shifts, alternating weekend rotation, and holiday coverage requirements.

High School graduate or equivalent (GED)

1 year of experience in Customer Service, Call Center, and/or Healthcare

Bilingual in Spanish
