Senior Construction Attorney
A highly regarded Chicago law firm is seeking an experienced construction attorney to join its established and growing practice.
The position will focus on sophisticated construction matters involving owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects and other industry participants. The successful attorney will handle complex disputes from initial assessment through resolution, including contract claims, delay and disruption matters, payment disputes, construction defects and related commercial litigation.
Candidates should have at least six years of substantive construction law experience, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex matters with increasing independence. Meaningful deposition, motion and courtroom experience would be highly valued.
